not TV is an art based live streaming web site, this means that we can show video, performance and sound work live or pre-recorded over the Internet. We were created as an alternative to the art gallery in which to show works, the space is not used as an online catalogue, but rather a virtual art space. The launch of not TV was December 2000. Not TV is web cast to be viewed on a 56k modem or above, this means that it can be viewed at home on a standard connection, with software that is free to download from the internet.

Emily Webber completed a Masters in Fine Art at the Slade School of Fine art in 2001, she is now working as a research assistant in the electronic Media department and on the not TV web site.
