ABOUT THE ARTIST
Cristine Wang is an independent new media curator, critic, and journalist. She was curator of the "Re: Duchamp Traveling Exhibition" at the 7th Int'l Istanbul Biennial, Turkey, and 49th Venice Biennial, Italy, 2001 (a project of Abraham Lubelski); "Dystopia + Identity in the Age of Global Communications" at Tribes Gallery, New York City(2000). She is curator of new media at The Alternative Museum, New York. Her works are included in the Whitney Museum's "Artport" website (organised by Christiane Paul). She will participate as a member of the International Jury for the 48th International Short Film Festival, Oberhausen, Germany (2002). She is on the Committee for the Paris Biennial 2002.
