ABOUT THE ARTIST

Gavin Wade is an Artist-Curator and Research Fellow in Curating at The University of Wolverhampton. He is the editor of Curating In The 21st Century (2000) published by The New Art Gallery Walsall and In The Midst Of Things (with Nigel Prince) (2000) published by August Media after the curated exhibition in Bournville, Birmingham, 1999. Previous Curated projects have included Nathan Coley and Bas Jan Ader, Vilma Gold, London, 2001, Let's Get To Work, Various venues, USA, 2000-2002, 3in1, Nylon, London, (2001), Offshore (2000) (with Per Huttner) Bergen, Norway, Hello..clk..bzz..whrr..Nice To Meet You, (1999) (with Kathrin Böhm) Nuremberg, Kling Klang, (1998) HMS Plymouth, Birkenhead and Low Maintenance & High Precision, (1997) Deptford, London. He is currently Developing STRIKE for Wolverhampton Art Gallery, UK.
