I will send postcards to various non-profit art & cultural spaces in Frankfurt. The postcards will have a description of my project along with the Free Manifesta Web site and my email address. The receiver of the postcard will fill out information about themselves concerning age, gender, hair & eye color and anything else they feel is unique to them such as a favorite book, their astrological sign, a political persuasion, a pathology. I, in return, will make a drawing of them based on this information, free of charge, and return it to them. I will have scanned the work onto the Free Manifesta web site.
My project continues the democratization of art that Free Manifesta supports & initiates, by including the anonymous receiver of the postcard as the critical component for the culmination of my project.
