Matangi Island is a ficticious nation which will issue it's first series of four postage stamps on a limited edition of postcards. The first four artistamps will be affixed to the corners of the postcard and canceled by the official postmark.

The government of Mantangi Island will be giving away 15 postcards in honor of the Free Manifesta project.



HOW TO LOCATE

This project is a mailart / artistamp project.

Postcards will be given away at the FREE MANIFESTA HEADQUARTERS.

The official Matangi Isle tourist bureau has created a web site at: http://www.mailartist.com/kiyotei/mi/ with information about the stamps and the island nation. People can experience the project by logging on to the website and by mailing the postcards to a friend or stranger.
