        JUDSON

Binary digital technology as applied to the current user remains asynchronous.
Are we prepared for what our disturbingly expensive hardware/software,
internet connections bring us. The machines currently marketed are still
rather primitive and yet the industry has been drastically "upgrading"
for approximately 15 years. This piece serves as commentary, as well as
a demonstration of the hi-end state of our machines' processing ability.

        ARTISTS STATEMENT

Highly interactive. If you are waiting with your hands in your lap, you
are just using up electricity and might as well sit there with the computer
off. These machines make for lousy VCRs and heavy, over-priced stereos.
Unless something requires user input, these machines are just being wasted.
