Frankfurt by Boat
On 9th & 10th July, an ongoing saga that began in 1996 with the discovery of a box of old slides on a Berlin flea market comes to Frankfurt, where participants are invited to accompany Nick Grindell on a remote-controlled voyage of exploration based on a route linking the New York City addresses of those who asked to be sent "Berlin by Boat" postcards as part of the Free Biennial in April this year. The corresponding "places of interest" in Frankfurt will be subjected to a thorough analysis. Although the length of the route may necessitate vehicle usage, Shank's Pony will be the dominant mode of transport.

Per Boot durch Frankfurt
Eine laufende Geschichte, die 1996 mit der Entdeckung einer Sammlung alter Dias auf einem Berliner Flohmarkt begann, kommt am 9. und 10. Juli nach Frankfurt, wo Teilnehmer eingeladen sind, Nick Grindell auf einer ferngesteuerten Erkundungsreise zu begleiten. Die Route basiert auf einer Linie, die die New Yorker Adressen derjenigen verbindet, die bei der Free Biennial im April Postkarten aus der Serie "Per Boot durch Berlin" angefordert haben. Die entsprechenden "Sehenswürdigkeiten" in Frankfurt werden einer gründlichen Analyse unterzogen. Auch wenn Teilstrecken mit Fahrzeugen bewältigt werden, bleibt das Hauptfortbewegungsmittel Schusters Rappen.
