"The narrative pressures the surface of reality". [Peter Brooks: The Melodramatic Imagination (1976).] Melodrama No.2 is an interactive video which makes use of scripting to compose and randomly select visuals and sounds. The viewer can participate in the piece by composing visuals and sounds within given parameters set by the artist. To fully explore the work the user should hover slowly on the gray patterns. In addition, waiting idly on some pictures triggers additional narratives.
