BLUESCREEN




The underground networks have definitely changed the sapcial perception in the urban environment.

Virtual-underground is a project, blending physical spaces and virtual spaces, that propose a trip "under" the pages that make up the Internet, giving a new topology and a new perception of space and places on the web.

Virtual-underground will be open to the frankfurt public at the begining of August and will be composed of three lines, corresponding to the three lines of the Frankfurt underground, allowing the connection of as many numeric places as the number of stations on this three lines.

This project will evolve in the future by adding other towns and other countries.

10000 transport tickets will be distributed (free) in Frankfurt during the Freemanifesta. Each ticket, avaliable directly in some underground stations and in certain public places will have a number that allows the connection to a specific station of the virtual underground and to travel freely in the huge network. These tickets will be avaliable, as soon as the official opening of the virtual underground at the begining of August, in the Freemanifesta headquarters and in different places in Frankfurt


Les réseaux de métros ont définitivement changés la perception de l'espace dans les milieux urbains.

Virtual-underground est un projet, alliant espaces physiques et espaces virtuels, qui en proposant un voyage "sous" les pages qui composent internet, offre une nouvelle topologie et une nouvelle perception de l'espace et des lieux du net.

Le virtual-underground sera ouvert au public de Frankfurt début août et sera composé de trois lignes, correspondant aux 3 lignes du métro de Frankfurt, permettant de connecter autant de lieux numériques que ces lignes comportent de stations.

Il évoluera dans le futur en intégrant d'autres villes et d'autres pays.

10000 tickets de transport seront diffusés (gratuitement) à Frankfurt pendant la Freemanifesta. Chaque ticket, disponible directement dans certaines stations de métros et dans certains lieux publics, comporte un numéro permettant d'accéder à une station spécifique du virtual-underground et d'y voyager librement.

Ces tickets seront disponibles, dès l'ouverture officielle du virtual-underground, début août 2002, au centre de la Freemanifesta et dans différents lieux.
